Position Description:
-Responsible for the English ministry operations of the church
-Lead, manage, supervise, and minister to the entire staff in EM under the supervision of the Senior Pastor.
-To personally pursue a maturing relationship with Christ; and to set a Christ-like example in words and actions
-To encourage and motivate the member in a growing commitment to the person of Christ, a deepening connection to the body of Christ and an expanding contribution to the mission of Christ
-Plan, coordinate, and organize all of the programs for the ministry
-Meet with leaders regularly to pray and discuss upcoming events, challenges, and solutions
-Provide counseling and spiritual direction to teens on an individual basis
-Identify and coordinate credible missions and service project opportunities for the ministry
-Participates in general Pastoral duties as deemed necessary
Church Description:
New Life Church is a growing church of Korean-Americans located in the southern suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina. We are seeking a creative, energetic and fun person who is passionate about 2nd generation Koreans and their spiritual growth. Candidate must be a strong leader, able to cast the vision, set the direction, and develop the overall strategy to lead our English speaking families, youth, and young professionals. Ability to speak Korean is a plus but not required.
