Youth Pastor - Light Global Mission Church
Position Description:
The position will oversee all aspects of our Korean-American Youth Ministry from grades 7-12 including teaching, program development, counseling, staff and volunteer development, etc. The candidate will demonstrate a high level of Christ-like character, integrity and faith while serving with humility in a team-based environment with highly committed group of volunteers and teachers along with a strong network of parents. Bottom line…we want someone who loves God and wants to serve Him wholeheartedly. The successful candidate will have several years of lead ministry experience, demonstrates strong organizational abilities and a pioneering spirit, and feels comfortable to pastor to a predominantly Korean-American English speaking congregation. Strong leadership, communication, and ministry administration skills are desired.
Church Description:
Light Global Mission Church (LGMC) is part of the Southern Baptist Convention with Sunday worship service attendance of 1000 people. The English Ministry (junior high to adults) averages 100 people on Sundays. The church and senior leadership is highly progressive, offering much ministry flexibility and autonomy.
