Position Description:
Healthy, vibrant evangelical church in upstate New York needs an experienced, passionate youth pastor to lead their paid and volunteer team in overseeing their ministry to junior and senior high students. This 2,000 member church has great potential, an excellent youth facility, strong volunteers and a passion to care for teenagers. It needs someone who can come in and build the team, lead the ministry and chart the course for the future. Helping students grow in their faith and developing creative outreach strategies will both be on the ministry screen. This is not for a rookie—the needs and expectations of a ministry this size require 3-5 years FT experience and some youth ministry training. Seminary education would be fine.
